BARC Athletics Youth Run ClubBARCBARC Athletics Youth Run Club BARC Athletics Youth Run club is an after school club which includes two practices a week as well as optional meets which will be ran as a team. A typical run club practice includes stretching, warm up run, group workouts such as time trials, plyometrics, relays, etc., and group running games. For Maltby 5th/6th Grade students September 17th - October 5th 3:30pm - 5:15 pm @Maltby Middle School $125 This does include meets - that are OPTIONAL The Legends meet we normally attend is on Saturday, October 3. Yoga is a great way to get your child moving. There are several benefits of children starting yoga at a young age. Yoga helps children manage their anxiety, improves emotional regulation, increases body awareness, enhances strength and flexibility and teaches children the benefits of a healthy lifestyle. *Child must bring their OWN yoga mat, water bottle and small journal with a pencil to every class. For Clarification: This fall session the instructor WILL be at the school as it lets out at 4:00pm- the meeting spot will be right outside of the gym, in the hallway against the wall near the colorful bench/friendship center room. 4:00pm-4:30pm will be snack time/stretching (this also gives kids from another school enough time to come over to join class) 4:30pm-5:30pm is class 5:30pm sharp is pick up BARC Athletics is partnered with The Space! BARC Pups Mama and Me YogaBARC PupsThis is a class you won't want to miss out on! Reconnect, restore, and bond in our gentle Mama & Baby/Toddler Yoga class (3m-4 years)— a nurturing space designed for mothers and their little ones. This class blends mindful movement, breathwork, and relaxation tailored to support postpartum recovery, all while engaging your child through touch, sound, and playful interaction. We focus on rebuilding core strength, relieving tension (especially in the shoulders, neck, and lower back), and encouraging calm through guided stretches and poses you can safely do with or near your child. No prior yoga experience is needed — all movements are beginner-friendly and adapted to suit your energy level. Come as you are, cry breaks and diaper changes welcome! This is a judgment-free, community-oriented class where both you and your baby are supported. We will also have play equipment out for the toddlers to use during class to help keep the children entertained while their mama is doing their yoga. BARC Pups Music and MovementBARC PupsParents, Let's get those wiggles and giggles out together by joining our parent and me music and movement class! During this class we do 20 minutes of interactive music, where we sing and dance to a variety of songs! The remainder of class (25 minutes) we work on developing your child's gross development skills by having six engaging stations that they rotate thru with their parent. Examples of stations: * Walking on balance beams * Basic Tumbling moves such as somersaults, bridges and donkey kicks * Ball kicking, throwing, tossing, catching, bouncing * Slides, rocking horses, ride on cars * Running games * Obstacle courses *Core strength exercises This is the perfect way to tire out your little one(s) before nap! *A parent must actively participate during each class.Fall 2026
