Tiny Hands, Might Muscles
This class is perfect for preschoolers and junior kindergarteners (Ages 3-6)
Children will explore a variety of sensory-based and interactive activities including cutting, squeezing, threading, building, peeling, sorting, painting, pinching, scooping, tweezing, and more — all carefully designed to support early development while making learning FUN!
Strengthening fine motor skills at a young age helps children gain confidence and independence in important daily tasks such as writing, buttoning, zipping, feeding themselves, opening containers, and completing classroom activities successfully.
This class provides a positive, encouraging environment where little learners can play, create, explore, and grow stronger one tiny movement at a time! This class is taught by Ms. Cole - who has been working with preschoolers for the past 15 years!
Each class incorporates exciting stations and activities focused on developing important early childhood skills such as:
- Proper pencil and crayon grip
- Hand and finger strength
- Scissor and cutting skills
- Pinching and grasping
- Hand-eye coordination
- Bilateral coordination
- Pre-writing and handwriting readiness
- Independence skills used in everyday tasks
*Please note a parent or adult must actively participate during this class
