Tai Chi Fundamentals & QiGong50+ Fitness(Ages 50+) The ancient practice of QiGong exercise enhances relaxation skills, mental focus and postural alignment while building leg strength, endurance and stability. This reduces pain and tension in the neck and back. Tai Chi Fundamentals allows a beginner to master basic Tai Chi movements that improve balance, flexibility, and strength. Research suggests that these practices improve performance, intellectual and creative endeavors, better overall health, and well-being. This is a non-impact, moderate intensity cardiovascular exercise that can complement any health care therapy regimen. At 9 am on Monday and Wednesday is a cardio based water aerobics class. Designed to work on your fitness, flexibility, stamina, and health. At 10 am on Wednesday is a BOGAFit class. This class is a combination of yoga, aerobics, and Pilates on a mat designed to stay on top of the water. Balance and core strength are essential in case you don’t want to fall in the water but that is also part of the fun. Limited space for this one due to the number of mats.
